Here are some tips for success:
⚝ Meet your child’s energy where it is: if they’re wound up, it might be good idea to dance it out together for a song or two of your choosing before starting Mindful Bedtime
⚝ Do the “getting ready for bed” things before starting: jammies on, teeth brushed, etc., so that your child can snuggle right into bed after this routine
⚝ Clear the space as much as possible; remove major distractions–toys, pets, things that go beep
⚝ Allow plenty of time, so no one feels rushed If you can, be fully present and participate with your child
