Bring the whole family to a Kira Willey & Friends Rockin’ Yoga Concert! Kira and her amazing band put on interactive, high-energy shows--totally unique, participatory events which include lots of fun, musical Yoga Breaks too!
Family Musical Yoga
Kira’s family yoga classes are active events packed with yoga poses, songs, movement, imaginative play, age-appropriate props, simple mindfulness exercises, and relaxation. Kira uses her original songs, as well as singing and playing live, throughout these fun and energetic events. No yoga experience necessary. Ideal for ages 2-8 with parent--other family members are welcome!

Magic of Music Teacher Training
What improves kids’ focus and concentration, reduces stress, fully engages them, and can be calming as well as energizing? Music! Join Kira and learn how to use music, rhythm, and song to completely captivate children. You’ll have an absolute blast in this high-energy, experiential workshop as you learn how to incorporate rhythm and song into your work with kids, making your programs incredibly engaging and fun.
Kira will demonstrate her teaching methods using original music from her award-winning CDs of kids’ yoga songs, as well as playing live. She’ll guide you in creating your own rhythm games and songs--with a focus on combining music and movement--to facilitate transitions, re-focus children, and create structure in your programs; and will help you choose the perfect music for your teaching needs. You’ll practice teach, using what you've learned, and leave totally inspired, with tons of ideas to incorporate into your kids’ yoga programs, classroom, or counseling sessions right away! Come play, move, and sing with Kira!

Mindfulness in the Classroom Teacher Training
Learn an arsenal of practical, quick, and easy-to-use tips and techniques to calm your classroom (and yourself!), focus your students, and help them release anxiety. Kira teaches practical, use-it-now tips, tools and techniques such as kid-friendly breathing and focus exercises, chair yoga, simple songs which incorporate movement, and more. Learn how to help kids self-regulate and focus their energy. School counselors, administrators, teachers, and anyone interested in creating positive change in the culture of our schools will enjoy and benefit from this session. We will have fun trying these techniques together (be ready to move!) and discuss practical applications and ways to incorporate mindfulness practices into the school day. Handouts will be included.
